Since 2015 the citizens´ association Society of Air Rescue Supporters has been uniting supporters of aviation and air rescue service, who have gone in modelling, taking pictures of helicopters and aircraft, history of aviation and voluntary rescue service, who are interested in common activities and organizing these activities, who help to organize events aimed at providing non-professional first aid and prevention of out-door injuries of children and adults.
The citizens´ association Society of Air Rescue Supporters is a legal entity that originated in compliance with Act no. 83/1990 Coll. providing for citizens´ association.
In 2018, an Open Day event was organized at the base Krištof 06 in Žilina, and in 2024 at the base Krištof 07 in Trenčín, funded by the 2% contribution, which was intended for the general public. Thanks to these financial contributions, we were able to provide informational material not only for adults but also for children, with the aim of bringing the work of air rescue services closer to everyone.
With your 2% donations, along with contributions from our donors, you have significantly helped us purchase intraosseous drills (Arrow®️ EZ-IO®️ Intraosseous Vascular Access System), which have been added to the non-mandatory medical equipment at all seven HEMS bases in Slovakia. Over the past 10 years, we have gradually equipped all HEMS bases in Slovakia with EasyPulse automated resuscitation devices, which can perform continuous chest compressions in any situation during cardiac arrest. Thanks to these tools, completely new possibilities for providing emergency medical care in urgent medicine are opening up.
